Gulf Oil partner with Williams as a sponsor

After several weeks of speculation, hinting and rumors from various sources, it's finally been confirmed (albeit unofficially) from Williams themselves that the partnership is true.

On Wednesday it was discovered that Gulf Oil International had been listed on the Williams Formula 1 team website, assumingly made public by accident.

The webpage has since been taken down, however it didn't take long for quite a few people to catch on to the news and for it to be archived.

An official announcement from the team and company is expected soon, with the team's car launch ahead of the 2023 season just around the corner on the 6th February.
